When is the tuition payment due & what is included?
Your tuition includes books, handouts, instructor fees, and a class dinner. Tuition must be paid in full by Orientation, on Sept 28th, 2023.
Can I join online?
Unfortunately not at this time. ALFWC SOM hopes to be able to provide online classes in the upcoming year. Our goal is to first establish the school our first year and and then to build a robust online curriculum for our A-church members. We do not want to leave anyone out! It is our intention to create an excellent learning environment for all students.
Can I sit in on some classes if I do not apply for the school and do not get credit?
Unfortunately, since this is our first semester, you will not be allowed to attend classes unless you are registered. We hope to foster a growing cohesion amongst the student cohort that unifies as the school progresses.
What can I expect out of the classes?
You can expect to learn more about theological foundations (what we believe & why), worship, prayer, prophecy, ministry gifts, evangelism, and inner healing. See the “Class Outline” page for more.
What will be expected of me as a student?
You will be expected to attend weekly classes and at least one service a week (either Thursday night Gathering or Sunday service). If you attend another church the same will apply at your home church. You will also be expected to read weekly assignments and write reflections based upon the readings.
If I am already a minister or Elder in the Church, should I join the school?
Absolutely! The school will provide a culture of stimulation of ideas around theological teachings and provide a library of resources to help continue you on your faith journey. We can never cease growing and all have a deposit intended to be shared with others on their journey. The school will also foster a culture of refreshing and encouragement. It will be a place to take your faith to the next level with a like minded community passionately engaged in their pursuit after Christ.

When should I expect to pay for the retreat?
Payments will not be due until April 2024. The trip is not included in the tuition and will cost approximately $500/ person. That will include your airfare, transportation and lodging. You will purchase food separately. You can invite friends however if they are traveling with ALFWC they will be expected to make their payments by the deadline as well so that we can prepare for them.
Are there scholarships available?
No, we do not have scholarships available for this semester.
